Ahhh, now for the "rest of the Story"....
I just had a K-Dock live aboard come in and tell me about the buddhist ritual that has been going on here for the last 4 years.
I'm the last to know these things. Obviously it was a non-issue until "Jaws" the rogue sea lion attack.
Apparently, the guys that operate the bait receiver schedule a blessing ritual every year with the buddhists, whereby they do release a couple buckets of little fishies and perform some chanting and blessings. I am not aware of the ritual, but now we know where this came from. Hopefully, they asked the fish to lead the sea lion back to happier hunting ground.
Sorry about that..I really didn't know about this..:)~
